1 (18-inch) loaf of Italian bread
1/2 lb. Genoa salami, sliced
1/2 lb.  mortadella, sliced
1/2 lb.  hot capicola, sliced
1/2 lb. Provolone, sliced
shredded lettuce
1 small onion, sliced thin, soaked in cold water
2 tomatoes, sliced
1 small can of sliced black olives, drained
3/4 cup Italian dressing
pepperoncini peppers

Cut bread lengthwise.  Scoop out some of the bread from the top half.  Drizzle some of the Italian dressing on the bottom half.  Layer bread with salami, mortadella, hot capicola and Provolone (or desired meats and cheeses). Top with layers of lettuce, onions,  tomato slices and olives. Top with some of the peppers. Drizzle with dressing. Put the top on.  Cut sub into serving size  pieces, or wrap tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
