| Candy Cane Fudge 1 - 12 oz. package white chocolate chips 1 - 16 oz. can prepared frosting 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract 4 drops of red food coloring 2 T of peppermint candy canes (chopped) Melt the white chocolate chips in a double boiler over medium heat, stirring until completely melted. Or you can melt the chips in the microwave. Add frosting to the pan and continue stirring. Take off the heat and stir in the peppermint extract. Pour mixture into an 8 x 8 buttered or sprayed baking pan. Add one drop of the food color in each corner of the pan. With a butter knife, swirl the food color into the fudge. Add chopped peppermint pieces to top of the fudge. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator until the fudge has harden. Cut into small squares. |
