| The Elvis butter, softened 2 slices white bread 2 T smooth peanut butter 1/2 ripe banana, sliced 1 T honey 3 slices bacon, cooked until crispy (optional) Butter one side of each slice of bread. On the other side of one slice, spread peanut butter. Place banana slices on top of peanut butter. Drizzle honey over bananas. Place the bacon slices on top of the banana, then place the remaining buttered bread slice on top, butter-side-out. Preheat a grill pan or griddle and place the sandwich on when hot. Flip the sandwich over when it is golden brown and crispy. When the sandwich is browned on both sides, remove to a plate and slice. This makes one sandwich, but of course you can make more. |
