
| Ramen Noodle Salad Salad 1/4 cup sesame seeds 1/2 cup sliced almonds 6 cups shredded cabbage 4 chopped scallions or green onions Oriental Ramen noodles, broken into pieces (uncooked) Dressing 1/2 cup vegetable oil 2 T vinegar 2 T sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper seasoning packet from the Ramen noodle package In a small bowl, mix together all dressing ingredients. Set aside. Toast almonds and sesame seeds in a dry pan or in the oven until lightly browned. In a large bowl, add cabbage, scallions, sesame seeds, almonds, and Ramen noodles. Mix gently until combined. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture just before serving. Yield: 8 to 10 servings. |
