| Breakfast Polenta 4 cups milk 1/2 tsp. salt 2 T sugar 1 cup corn meal 4 tablespoons unsalted butter In a medium saucepan set over medium heat, bring milk salt and sugar to a boil. Whisk in polenta. Reduce heat to low and whisk until creamy. This takes about 2 to 5 minutes. Stir in butter. Serve hot with your favorite toppings such as honey, fresh fruits, jam, nuts or just a splash of milk and some sugar. |
